Recruitment Incentives Updated and Extended

(BOP) - The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is actively hiring at 122 locations across the country. The BOP is currently offering a 10% recruitment incentive for 13 hard-to-fill federal prison locations. Individuals who have received firm offers of employment as Correctional Officers at one of these 13 locations on or before December 31, 2020, are eligible for the recruitment bonus. All candidates are subject to a Core Value Assessment (70 minute test), urinalysis, physical examination, and background investigation. If hired, individuals must successfully complete the BOP's "Introduction to Correctional Techniques" residential training course and remain at the location where they were hired for a minimum of 24 months. The 13 locations with the current 10% group recruitment incentive for Correctional Officers are:
