October 13, 2020 (BOP) - All BOP staff at affected institutions (FCC Beaumont, FCC Oakdale, and FCC Pollock) have been accounted for and are safe. There are no reported injuries to inmates or staff at affected institutions. Power has been restored at all three facilities and all continue to have telephone service, water, and adequate food supplies.

October 10, 2020 (BOP) - There are no reported injuries to inmates or staff at affected institutions (FCC Beaumont, FCC Oakdale and FCC Pollock). All of the facilities have water and telephone service and are operating on emergency generator power. All of the affected institutions are being assessed for possible damage. Institutions continue to have adequate supplies of food and water for inmates and staff. If needed, additional resources (including staff) will be routed to areas with the most significant impact to assist with relief efforts and enable local staff to attend to personal affairs. Our thoughts are with members of the communities affected by this storm, as well as with the emergency responders. Please continue to check this website for any updates.

October 9, 2020 (BOP) - The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is closely monitoring Hurricane Delta. As with any type of emergency situation, we carefully assess how best to ensure the safety of staff, inmates and the public. Several facilities, FCC Beaumont, FCC Oakdale, and FCC Pollock could be impacted by Hurricane Delta. The BOP's Central Office, South Central Regional Office, as well as all potentially affected institutions, have their Emergency Operation Centers open and are monitoring the storm.
FCC Beaumont, FCC Oakdale, and FCC Pollock remain operational and have an adequate supply of food and water for both the inmates and staff. Due to the potential impact of the storm, social visiting at these locations is canceled from October 9 - 12, 2020.
