(BOP) - The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Milan, MI, is seeking individuals interested in working with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). A Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., at the FCI Training Center 4004 East Arkona Road, Milan, MI 48160. Interested applicants should bring a resume and two forms of identification. Veterans should also bring a DD-214 and a VA Disability Certificate, if applicable.
Please note: Federal regulations require BOP employees to be under 37 years old when hired. U.S. citizenship is also required. Candidates are subject to a drug urinalysis, physical examination and background investigation. Additionally, those hired must successfully complete "Introduction to Correctional Techniques" in Glynco, Georgia.
