(BOP) - Today the Attorney General announced the selection of Mark S. Inch to serve as the 9th Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. General Inch has 35 years experience in military law enforcement and corrections. He most recently served as the Provost Marshal General/Commanding General, Criminal Investigation Command (CID) & Army Corrections Command. As Provost Marshal General, General Inch was the Army's senior law enforcement professional in charge of both the U.S. Army CID and the Army Corrections Command. In 2013, General Inch received the American Correctional Association's highest honor, the E.R. Cass Award for lifetime achievement in Corrections.
