(BOP) - On December 16, 2015, in recognition of his many accomplishments and years of service, Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch presented Bureau of Prisons Director Charles E. Samuels, Jr. with the U.S. Department of Justice's highest award-the Edmund J. Randolph Award. The Award, named for the first Attorney General of the United States, appointed by President George Washington, recognizes outstanding contributions to the accomplishments of the Department's mission.
