The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) will host an Industry Day to engage with companies offering commercially available body worn camera technologies.
Please note: Registration for this event closed on February 23, 2026.
As part of the Bureau’s ongoing effort to strengthen accountability, enhance transparency, and support safe, secure correctional operations, this Industry Day event will provide BOP leadership and technical experts an opportunity to learn more about the capabilities, functionality, and operational use of body worn cameras in both law enforcement and correctional environments. Participating vendors will demonstrate their solutions and discuss potential applications that support the Bureau’s goals, including improved documentation of staff actions, enhanced investigative support, and increased adherence to training and policy.
Event Location:
Federal Bureau of Prisons
400 First Street NW
Washington, DC 20534
Industry Demonstration Dates: March 2–6, 2026
Following registration closure and Government review, accepted companies will be scheduled for a single 60 minute one on one demonstration session throughout the week between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Each session will include approximately 45 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A. Vendors may present slide materials and bring sample devices or accessories. Internet access will not be available, so companies should plan to use their own hotspot if needed.
Areas of interest include interoperability with radio systems, digital evidence management systems, FedRAMP authorized solutions, and other capabilities relevant to correctional operations.
