The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) will host an in person Facilities Management (Infrastructure) Industry Day on February 24–26, 2026, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Following the success of the inaugural event held in Washington, DC, this will be the BOP’s second Facilities Management Industry Day.
Please note: Registration for this event closed on February 5, 2026.
Industry Day is a no cost event open to industry partners with capabilities in supporting critical facilities construction and maintenance. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Roofing
- Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (M.E.P.) trades
- Boiler and chiller services
- Fire alarm and sprinkler systems
- Security electronics
- General construction services
Participating firms will have the opportunity to learn more about the BOP’s mission, upcoming requirements, and facilities management needs, as well as engage directly with BOP staff during scheduled one on one sessions.

Event Schedule Highlights
Day One – February 24, 2026
Day One will include welcome remarks, introductions, and presentations from BOP representatives, followed by a lunch break and an afternoon dedicated to one on one industry sessions.
Note for registered participants: Audiovisual equipment will not be available for PowerPoint or other digital presentations. Participants are encouraged to bring printed handouts or other materials to share. A live presentation panel of up to 15 BOP personnel will be present.
Days Two and Three – February 25–26, 2026
These days are reserved exclusively for scheduled 15 minute one on one sessions, allowing firms to highlight their capabilities, ask questions, and engage directly with BOP staff.
