How to get here

From Baltimore/Washington/Harrisburg

Take I-95 North to the 695 Beltway to I-83 North to I-81 North to exit 116. Turn left onto route 901 and travel 1/5 mile. The entrance to the institution is on the right.

From Philadelphia

Take I-76 West (the Schuylkill Expressway) to Route 202 West, travel that for 1/4 mile to Route 422 West. Take exit for 222 East/Route 61 North, from the left lane. Follow Route 61 North to I-81 South. Take I-81 South to exit 116. Turn right onto Route 901 and travel 1/5 mile.

From the North

Take I-80 West to I-81 South to Minersville exit 116. Turn right onto Route 901 and travel for 1/5 mile.

After entering institution grounds

The minimum security FPC is the first building on your left. To reach the medium security FCI, follow the road until you see the institution on your right. Park in the first parking lot on your left.

Commissary List

In 1930 the Department of Justice authorized and established a Commissary at each Federal institution. The Commissary provides a bank type account for your money & for the procurement of articles not issued regularly as part of the institution administration. Funds deposited by your family, friends, or other sources are stored in your commissary account that we maintain.

PREA Report

This report, posted on August 4, 2022, as required per 28 CFR 115.403, details the findings of an audit that was conducted by an outside contractor to determine the Federal Bureau of Prisons' (FBOP) compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). As the work product of independent auditors subcontracted by PREA Auditors of America (PAOA), the FBOP is not responsible for grammatical or typographical errors.
