The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Ray Brook is a medium security facility for male offenders. 

FCI Ray Brook is located in Upstate New York, midway between the villages of Lake Placid and Saranac Lake.

Note: Visiting hours for FCI Ray Brook will change. Effective April 19, 2013, FCI Ray Brook will no longer be conducting visitation on Fridays.

Visitation will continue to be held on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Visitors can begin processing in at 8:15 a.m.
