(BOP) - The Federal Medical Centers (FMC) in Fort Worth and Carswell, TX are seeking individuals interested in working with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). A Career Fair, with special emphasis on Correctional Officers and medical staff, is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, May 29 & 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at FMC Fort Worth, 3150 Horton Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76119. Interested applicants should bring a resume and two forms of identification. Veterans should also bring a DD-214 and VA Disability Certificate (if applicable).
Please note: Federal regulations require BOP employees to be under 37 years old when hired. U.S. citizenship is also required. Candidates are subject to a drug urinalysis, physical examination and background investigation. Additionally, those hired must successfully complete "Introduction to Correctional Techniques" in Glynco, Georgia.
