Human Resource Specialist

Job Series Number: 0201

Human Resource Specialists provide support and technical assistance in all areas of personnel, including staffing, classification, employee relations, salary and wage administration, labor/management relations, and training/development alternatives.

Pay Levels GS-05

Basic Requirements

4 year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree

OR

3 years of progressively responsible general experience that demonstrates all of the following:

  1. ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions
  2. plan and organize work
  3. communicate effectively orally and in writing
